about

Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, there lived a grandmother. Every summer, as the school bells fell silent marking the end of another school year, she would gather the old notebooks, gently remove the blank pages, and skillfully stitch them together to make, what she fondly called, a "roughbook". Back then, I didn't know anything about bookbinding. Even now, I can't quite remember the exact method she used or how she achieved those flawless edges, a challenge I still face today. All I know is those roughbooks she crafted were sturdier than any store-bought ones!

Just like many others, I found joy in tinkering with stationery, a pastime that kept my mind occupied and my spirit calm. But as I spent more time crafting, I realized that it was more than just a pastime and that's how this simple hobby evolved into a tiny business.

I still cherish the handmade aspect of most of my creations as I believe that handmade products possess a beauty that sets them apart from mass-produced ones. Each product I create is a labor of love, crafted carefully with attention to detail, but with subtle imperfections. You can see them as flaws or embrace them. For me, it's those imperfections that make each handmade product unique. It is these imperfections that set them apart from machine-made products and give each one its own unique story to tell.

I hope you find joy in the pieces I create.

My grandma was fondly known as Daachi, a name that holds a world of warmth and cherished memories for me.

How I wish she was here with me now.
